The Lindental II project, a modern residential development with underground parking and a total of 207 apartments, is currently under construction on Lindentalstrasse in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Seven buildings with each six floors are planned, creating new living space in an attractive location.
The project was planned entirely using Building Information Modeling (BIM), a digital method in which all building data is brought together in a central 3D model (read more here).
By implementing the BIM2Field process, this digital data is used directly on the construction site, resulting in an efficient, precise, and transparent construction process.
For the formwork, STUTZ AG is relying on a combination of alkus AG AL panels with PERI Maximo and alkus GM panels with PERI Skydeck. This solution ideally combines durability, dimensional stability, and sustainability.
Construction began in February 2025 with the demolition of the former industrial site. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2026.
