More than 1,500 uses have been documented with the same composite sheet from alkus. Traditional plywood does not usually survive more than 50 concreting cycles.

Taking easy handling one step further
alkus solid plastic panels can be nailed, screwed and cut just like timber panels. They do not require special preservatives and can be cleaned using high-pressure washers (with up to 1,000 bar operating pressure) and rotary cleaners.
Permanent exposed concrete quality
alkus solid plastic panels are resistant to moisture; meaning they will therefore never swell, shrink, rot or become rippled. It also ensures that they can be used over and over again, providing the same smooth concrete surface every time. Due to the extremely smooth finish of the polypropylene surface (without a phenolic resin coating), undesired surface irregularities (ripples) and formwork-related discolouration are never a concern, not even when working to the highest exposed concrete standards.
