A major success for the circular economy in formwork construction: With its alkus^® recycling concept, alkus AG has set a strong example for sustainability and resource conservation in the construction industry.

On Thursday, May 21, 2026, the official award ceremony of the renowned industry competition took place. In advance, numerous products and projects had been nominated for their innovative approaches and sustainable solutions driving progress in the construction sector.

With the alkus^® recycling concept, alkus AG impressed particularly in the fields of sustainability and resource conservation. The concept supports a sustainable circular economy in formwork construction and enables the largely recyclable reuse of used alkus^® solid plastic panels. Thanks to their long service life, repairability using identical material and the take back program for used panels, alkus^® actively contributes to reducing material consumption and CO₂ emissions.
